The site is the largest online ski accomodation booking site in the world. It offers customers a range of services from search and booking to bulletin boards and newsletter subscription; and it provides the company with a turnkey solution encompassing content management, customer tracking, call management and e-commerce. Working to a tight deadline of 9 weeks, 4 Paneris developers worked closely with APR and Iglu.com to create the system for a fixed price in seven weeks. The middleware is all written in Perl, and uses a Template technology developed by us with this project in mind. The site is hosted on NT. Iglu.com was delivered 3 days early and has received rave reviews on Sky News and in the Financial Times. At the request of the client, the project management page is not currently available to the public. |
